Like many of the women Adeline had a fondness of snuff and always kept a handkerchief pinned to her dress for wiping her mouth.

The CCPA has archived photographs and other documents related to Cades Cove. CCPA volunteers are working diligently to get materials categorized so that descendants and others interested in the history and some genealogy will be able to avail themselves of these priceless resources.
